With a great getting to know each other event, even before the official start of the apprenticeship, you can already “feel the future” and be right at the heart of the ZIEHL-ABEGG future team.
You can experience pure enthusiasm in your first week of work with us. We will give you a tour through our company and give you an initial insight into the varied work and production areas of ZIEHL-ABEGG – a real highlight right from the start.
During your apprenticeship, we will give you the opportunity to go abroad to visit one of our 114 sales offices worldwide.
At ZIEHL-ABEGG, apprenticeship means variety. We have many exciting opportunities to participate and get involved in projects outside of the area of responsibility. For example, the "Children’s sponsorship" project, where trainees plan campaigns or events to raise donations for various institutions.
ZIEHL-ABEGG is represented worldwide at trade fairs. You can join us here and watch our sales professionals as they present our world-famous high-tech products.
In our modern apprenticeship workshop, the trainers devote a lot of time to you. Working in a team with them, your apprenticeship time will be an unforgettable experience.
Team-building trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen as part of the 2024 induction days
73 new trainees and DH students went to Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the beginning of fall 2024 during the exciting induction days.
The aim of the trip: team building through creativity, communication and organization.
After an exciting mountain hike to the Tannenhütte at an altitude of 934 meters, the participants were rewarded with a breathtaking view.
Once at the top, the big community challenge awaited: constructing an extensive chain reaction from a wide variety of components and materials together as a team.

It was a great moment when I was accepted for my apprenticeship and that's how it went from there. My apprenticeship here at ZIEHL-ABEGG is really top-class. I get an insight into many areas, departments and processes, which is really exciting. I also enjoy the international nature of the company. I have already been able to learn and get to know a lot, which is important for my future plans as an industrial clerk. Apprentice process mechanic for plastics technology
Math and working with machines has always been my thing. So I'm in the right place here with my training. After learning the necessary basic knowledge, I am already working with really big machines and huge tools specially developed here for the production of various plastic impellers for our fans, which is very interesting. Plastics technology is the future. I am always amazed at what is possible with it. You learn quickly here and the trainers have a lot of confidence in you, which is motivating. Team spirit is very important to us. I like my apprenticeship.
